The 61800 series is a bidirectional regenerative AC power supply that utilizes four quadrants. It meets a wide range of needs not only in product development but also in quality assurance and production. The 61800 series adopts full four-quadrant regenerative operation, making it a programmable AC power supply designed for testing general electrical products such as home appliances and industrial electronic devices. Additionally, it has been designed to simulate the characteristics of the grid, such as power conditioners (PV inverters), inverter power supply, and UPS. It can support both sink and source applications from the unit under test (UUT). In this case, the source current detection circuit of the UUT senses surplus power, which is then reused (regenerated) back into the grid.
